hans!’ music is more than a collection of sounds or a sum of influences. It is about tapping into a conversation about free emotional expression through art and innovation. It is about blazing forward through the flames of creation, exploring and bringing inner visions to life.

Ottawa multi-instrumentalist and creator hans! is inspired by French producers like Air, Daft Punk, , Odezenne, and Lewis Ofman. He also has a great appreciation for the historical evolution of orchestra music and employs some of its elements in his own musical style.

After learning guitar as a young teen and singing in a high school production, hans! was inspired to pursue music. He joined a band and started writing indie rock songs. Now disbanded, The Tackies (Ottawa), provided him with invaluable experience that has lead to new creative paths forward. hans! is a solo project in which self-production, exploration, and free creation are at the forefront. Any and all genres are on the table.

The audience can expect the unexpected at a hans! show. hans! goal is to surprise and inspire, creating an energetic, electric mood, but also sharing stories through thoughtful lyrics and melodies. His dynamic voice and performance style create an atmosphere of welcome celebration. What are we celebrating? The spirit of creativity.
